Insight Research Services Associated is an Endorsed Education Provider with the International Institute of Business Analysis. Each hour-long webinar is worth one point toward IIBA Personal Development hours or Continuing Development Units.

You do not need to be an IIBA member to register for any of our webinars.

These webinars are designed for business analysts who have had some formal or informal training in a business discipline but who do not have any training or prior knowledge in data analytics, statistics, or information technology. It is expected that these business analysts are either working alongside or supervising data analysts.

Data Analysts

Data Analyst

These webinars are designed for data analysts who have had some formal or informal training in data analysis. Some data analysts might have formal training in analytics, statistics, or information technology. Other data analysts might have formal training in an area such as business, and have gained some understanding of analytics through on-the-job learning.

A BA's Introduction to the Methods of Business Analytics Using R

The field of Business Analysis has and is experiencing significant change as the value of methods such as data mining and statistics are being realised. This course is designed as a Business Analyst's first introduction to the methods involved in Business Analytics.

Two versions of this course have been offered in the past: five-day face-to-face intensive course offered in Brisbane, Australia, and a ten-week online course with weekly scheduled webinar presentations and exercises.

This course was worth 20 points toward IIBA Personal Development hours or Continuing Development Units, but you did not need to be an IIBA member to register.

A Gentle Introduction to Statistics in SPSS and R

For many people the field of statistics can be incredibly daunting. This workshop is designed as a gentle introduction to the field of statistics, where absolutely no prior knowledge of statistics is assumed. Workshop participants will also be introduced to two of the most popular statistical software packages, SPSS and R (participants can choose which package they would like to use during individual hands-on exercises throughout the workshop).

This workshop is intended for non-statisticians wishing to develop a solid foundation in the use of these techniques. No prior knowledge of statistics is assumed. Participants will also be introduced to SPSS and R, where no prior knowledge of these software packages is also assumed.

Introduction to Linear and Logistic Regression

In this workshop we will explore the foundation for linear and logistic regression. Workshop participants will be introduced to these statistical concepts using one of three popular statistical software packages: SPSS, Stata, and R.

This workshop is intended for non-statisticians wishing to develop a solid foundation in the use of these techniques. A basic knowledge of statistics is assumed, but participants need not have a prior knowledge of linear or logistic regression.

Introduction to Longitudinal Data Analysis

In this workshop we will examine the theory of longitudinal data analysis and the handling of missing data. Workshop participants will be introduced to these statistical concepts using one of three popular statistical software packages: SPSS, Stata, and R.

This workshop is intended for non-statisticians and statisticians new to the field of longitudinal data analysis.  A basic knowledge of linear regression is assumed.
