About Insight RSA
Insight Research Services Australia (Insight RSA) was established in June 2011, as the Australian Development Agency for Statistics and Information Systems, by staff working in the School of Population Health at the University of Queensland. Our founding director, Mark Griffin, has over 17 years experience working in the fields of statistics and computer engineering, and has worked for university and industry employers in Australia, Canada and Switzerland. Insight RSA brings together a local, national, and international professional network that Mark has developed throughout this time to create a unique organisation that provides a vital service for the Australian community.
In the 2011-2016 period our staff presented over 90 two-day workshops around Australia. We regularly present training for academic, government and industry clients in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. For more about our training programs please visit our Training and Workshops page.
Our staff have provided consultancy services to a range of academic and industry staff around Australia in as diverse fields as health, agriculture, environmental sciences, engineering, and the social sciences. Our clients include academic staff in Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Sydney. In addition we have done work for major companies including Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, and Exxon Oil.
Our staff have a strong passion for applying our skills in the arena of international development. Statistics and information systems play a vital role in this sector, both in understanding and quantifying the cause and effect of the challenges faced by people living in developing societies, and when evaluating the success of international development programs.
